NY Looks to Halt Vaping Usage; More Testing Needed

September 9, 2019 by helpdesk1

New York is urging everyone to put down the vaping products until it’s crystal clear what the product is delivering. Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Department of Health are echoing the advice from the Centers for Disease Control, and asks New Yorkers to temporarily stop using vaping products…

New York State’s public health laboratory is testing vape products containing both cannabis and nicotine that have been used by people who have experienced serious lung-related illnesses. The governor says testing continues on all vape products authorized in the state’s Medical Marijuana Program. There have been no adverse events related to vaping among certified patients in this program since this investigation began. Patients in that program can call 844-863-9312 if they have any questions or concerns.
