As the polls tighten in New York, the governor is now turning up the focus on crime and safety. Over the weekend, the New York Post reported one poll had Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin with a slight three-tenths of a percentage point lead over Hochul, a Democrat. Zeldin has been hammering Hochul on crime issues during the campaign.
