NY Governor to Let NYC Restaurants Open to 25% Capacity, but Ten PM Closing Deadline Remains

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, New York’s governor is allowing restaurants in the city to open at 25 percent capacity the end of the week. Andrew Cuomo said in his COVID press conference yesterday, the original plan was to open on Valentine’s Day this Sunday, but the restaurants said they needed time to prepare…

But the ten PM closing time remains in effect, as it did for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says that policy doesn’t make sense…

COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we lost six more to COVID, the total now is 851. We’ve got 72 hospitalized confirmed with coronavirus, and 1,838 active cases. Our total case count is 35,769, that’s 517 more than Monday.
