NY Governor Drops Bits of 2020 Agenda Ahead of State of State in January

December 20, 2019 by helpdesk1

New York’s governor has been dropping little tidbits lately about what will be in his 2020 budget agenda, previewing his State of the State address in January. Rockland and Westchester state senator David Carlucci says healthcare is likely to be one of the governor’s priorities…

The governor’s already said he wants a ban on Styrofoam products including single-use food containers and packing peanuts, a mandate that would trigger a recount in close elections, and the closing of the rape intoxication loophole. The 2020 State of the State presentation will be made in Albany on January 8th.
