The New York Boulders were looking to sweep the Empire State Greys in their weekend matchup. The Greys jumped out to an early lead Sunday afternoon at Clover Stadium in Pomona, scoring one in the top half of the first, but with two on base and two out in the bottom of the first, the Boulders’ Jacob MacKenzie was at the plate facing a full count…
And that was Jacob Kronberg with the call on the Boulders radio network here on WRCR. That gave the Boulders a 3-1 lead. They would go on to sweep the winless Greys for the weekend, winning yesterday’s contest, 12-7. The Boulders are off today, they’ll hit the road for a three-game series against the Sussex County Miners tomorrow.
