It’s official…the North Rockland school district has decided to take a pause this winter and go fully remote starting next Monday through January 19th. As we’ve been reporting, the district has been considering the move for the past week or so, and they’ve now become the first in the region to do it.
COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we’ve added another death to the total since yesterday, we’re now at 690 since the pandemic began. We’ve got 50 in the hospital confirmed with coronavirus, and a total of 1,370 active cases. The state says since the crisis began, we’ve had a total of 19,904 reported cases, 337 more than Monday.
