NJ Lawmakers Fail to Pass Bills on Vaccine Exemptions and Plastic Bag Ban

New Jersey families can still cite religion as a reason to not get vaccinations. Lawmakers failed yesterday to pass a bill that would have eliminated that option. The bill could be re-introduced today. New York last year passed a bill that banned religious and all non-medical exemptions to vaccination requirements. An attempt to pass a ban on plastic bags and foam containers in New Jersey also failed.
