NJ Governor Promises Improvements to NJT

The governor of New Jersey also is looking to make a more progressive agenda his hallmark. In his first State of the State presentation, governor Phil Murphy called for a $15 and hour minimum wage, legalized marijuana for recreational purposes, and improvements to the embattled New Jersey Transit system that’s dealing with engineer shortages and the Positive Train Control installation…

Rockland officials have complained about NJ Transit’s cancellation of express routes to Pearl River, Nanuet and Spring Valley and the lack of a discount to inconvenienced Rockland riders.
