The Rockland County Clerk’s online databases have been restored. That’s the word to the county from their software administrator, Cott Systems. A coordinated cyber-attack appeared to hit the clerk’s office late last month. Department of Homeland Security and FBI officials began an investigation after Cott Systems reportedly found potentially malicious files in their system. If anyone continues to have issues using the County Clerk’s online system, you can contact the office the old-fashioned way by phone at 845-638-5221.
