The Rockland County Legislature welcomed seven new members to start the new year. New legislators elected in November who were sworn in last week include, Democrats Paul Cleary of Garnerville, Beth Davidson of Nyack, Jesse Malowitz of Suffern, and Dana Stilley of Piermont. Democrats, who hold the majority, re-elected Alden Wolfe as Majority Leader. Jay Hood remains as Chairman, Aney Paul as Vice Chairwoman, and Philip Soskin was appointed Second Vice Chair. Joel Friedman was appointed Deputy Majority Leader and Doug Jobson was appointed Deputy Minority Leader.
