A 22-year-old Rockland man has been charged in New Jersey after an accident Saturday with a tractor trailer that sent one to the hospital in serious condition. DailyVoice.com says Nanuet’s Davil LaFontant crashed into a truck that was parked on the shoulder near the Suburban Diner on Route 17 Northbound in Paramus. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said LaFontant was charged with aggravated assault and drug possession in the crash. Both LaFontant and a 20 year-old female were injured. Two other passengers were unhurt. LaFontant is due in Hackensack court on May 7th.
