January 7, 2020 by helpdesk1

The Monsey man who helped repel a knife-wielding attacker at a Hanukkah party in a Rabbi’s Ramapo home last week was given the New York State Senate Liberty Medal on Sunday. Rockland and Westchester state senator David Carlucci gave the award to Josef Gluck Sunday, and said his heroics were inspirational…

Gluck said the honors didn’t belong to him, but to god…

Ramapo legislator Aron Weider said Gluck’s actions saved the community from further attacks…

A Rockland grand jury late Friday indicted Greenwood Lake’s Grafton Thomas on six counts of attempted murder, and other charges. The 37-year-old pleaded not guilty, but he also faces federal hate crime charges. His family has claimed he suffers from mental illness.
