A Hudson Valley man was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a Monsey man in Orange County. New York State Police say the accident took place on Route 17 in Tuxedo, around four Wednesday morning. 31 year-old Eluzer Silber of Monsey was traveling north on Route 17 when his box truck collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra driven by 63 year-old Michael Wyka of Monroe who was traveling southbound. Police say Wyka was trapped in his car, and while life-saving measures were attempted, Wyka was pronounced dead at the scene. Silber suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
