A Monsey man has been charged with violating New Jersey’s emergency order banning large gatherings. 23 year-old Israel Goldenberg was allegedly at a catered party in Lakewood on Easter Sunday. NJ.com says Lakewood cops broke up the party, which featured a chef and two waiters, children playing in a bouncy castle and a long table set up with a tablecloth, plates, utensils and chairs. Six others from Brooklyn were also charged with Child Neglect. Lakewood has the most cases of coronavirus in Ocean County, with nearly double that of the town with the second-most, Toms River.
