Mid-Hudson County Execs Ask Gov. for Early Phase Three; Palisades Center Vendors to NYS: “Let us Open!”

June 19, 2020 by helpdesk1

More than 40 food and beverage purveyors at Palisades Center are demanding New York State let them re-open alongside all restaurants as part of the Phase Three re-opening. They say they’ve invested significantly in safety and social distancing protocols, and risk going out of business if they are not permitted to open. Rockland County executive Ed Day along with his counterparts from Dutchess, Orange and Putnam counties have written to Governor Cuomo asking him to let the Mid-Hudson Region enter Phase Three today, ahead of schedule, to benefit from the Father’s Day weekend.
