If you’ve ever traveled up Route 17, possibly to go to the Catskills or the western part of the state, you probably drove past the Red Apple Rest. The landmark restaurant was kind of an unofficial gateway to western upstate New York. You can hear Lindenblatt tell the story of The Red Apple Rest Sunday at 2PM at the Harmony Hall-Jacob Sloat House at 15 Liberty Rock Road in Sloatsburg. For more information visit FOHH.org.
