Lawyer: New City Man Won’t Talk to Grand Jury in Hot Car Case

October 25, 2019 by helpdesk1

The New City man whose 1-year-old twins died in July in an overheated car
while he was at work was in a Bronx courtroom again yesterday. The
second-degree manslaughter case against 39 year-old Juan Rodriguez is
still pending, but published reports said he won’t be talking to the grand
jury. His attorney wants the case dismissed, stating it was a horrific,
horrible accident. Rodriguez has claimed he thought he had dropped the
twins off at day care before going to work at the Bronx VA hospital. He’ll
be back in court December 5th.
