Lawsuit Filed by Fiancé of Rockland’s County Executive Against His Daughter-in-Law is Dropped

The lawsuit filed by the county executive’s girlfriend, now his fiancé, against his daughter-in-law, has been dropped. In an email, Donna Pascucci’s attorney John McCarron said dropping the defamation lawsuit against Chris Day’s wife, Jennifer, was the “first step on a path of peace and reunification.” Pascucci had filed the lawsuit in December in response to comments Day had made on social media. The feud between Chris and Ed Day led Chris to not seek re-election as Orangetown supervisor last year.
