Hundreds Rally in Suffern in Support of Police

Hundreds came out yesterday in Suffern to show support police, here and around the country. Suffern mayor Ed Markunas, himself a retired NYPD officer, said he’s angry to see so much anti-police sentiment brewing around the country…

Deputy Town Supervisor in Orangetown and state Assembly candidate, Mike Lawler, a Suffern High School graduate, said local police deserve residents’ support…

That audio courtesy of “The Rockland Report.” A moment of silence at the Washington Avenue Soldier’s Monument and Triangle was held at the beginning of the rally, and was followed by a march through Suffern’s downtown on Lafayette Avenue.
