June 17, 2020 by helpdesk1

Hospitals will now be allowed to accept visitors at their discretion, as long as they follow state guidelines. That includes time-limited visits and requiring all visitors to wear PPE. The hospital visitation program expands on a successful pilot program that was launched in May. COVID-19 by the numbers now, the state has confirmed around 384,600 total cases and 24,608 deaths. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got 13,460 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 665 fatalities here in the county.
