June 9, 2021 by helpdesk1

Heavy rains pounded Route 303 yesterday afternoon in Orangetown, and several people had to be rescued from their cars after getting trapped in the rising waters. Patch.com says the Orangeburg Fire Department and Piermont Fire Department divers were called out to get the occupants of four cars to safety. News 12 says three homes on Isabel Road were flooded, one of them partially collapsed, leaving the homeowner in the Red Cross’ care overnight.
