Have a Scary Good Time at Lots of Halloween Events in Rockland

October 28, 2022 by Jeff Lewis

The annual Nyack Halloween parade steps off this weekend. Mark Mangan is the Halloween parade manager, and says the event begins Saturday night at 5:30 in downtown Nyack…

Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann says they’ll be extra police out and about making sure kids and everyone else have a safe holiday…

Orangetown supervisor Teresa Kenny says Nyack has the big event, but Orangeburg and Pearl River are getting in on the spooky action, too…

Palisades Center is hosting a Trick or Treat event tomorrow from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Level One next to H&M, while on Sunday at Clover Stadium in Pomona there’s the “Truck or Treat Food Truck Festival” from noon-6:00pm. It’s $5 for admission and free parking, that gives you access to 15 food trucks and over 50 craft beer varieties, live music, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a costume parade AND a pet and kid costume contest, and more. Elsewhere, the Artis Senior Living of Chestnut Ridge on Chestnut Ridge Road is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” event today at 3pm, and the Palisades Community Center is hosting their annual “Scarecrows & Pumpkins” family fun event Sunday from noon-2pm. Bring old clothing to make a scarecrow, or carve or paint a pumpkin to take home. That’s at 675 Oak Tree Road in Palisades.
