Governor Signs Package of Bills Designed to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The governor has signed three new laws that would look to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 85 percent by 2050. At a signing ceremony in Brooklyn Tuesday, Governor Kathy Hochul said the bill would encourage lots of new jobs to help create a better future, starting with having 70 percent of our electricity coming from renewables by the year 2030…

The governor also called out the U-S Supreme Court for recently limiting the Environmental Protection Agency’s ability to regulate greenhouse gasses.
