Get Your “Don’t Get Ticked” Tick Kit from Cornell Cooperate Extension

May 1, 2019 by helpdesk1

May is Lyme Disease and Tick Awareness Month. Lyme Disease is an infection caused by a type of bacteria that is carried by infected deer ticks. Mike Wilson is a Horticulture Lab Technician with Cornell Cooperate Extension in Stony Point, and says there have been three other species of ticks in the county in addition to the deer tick…

Mike also hosts the StormWater Consortium Radio Show on WRCR, and says if you come to the lab in Stony Point, ask about ticks and mention his show, he’ll give you a free Tick Kit. The “Don’t Get Ticked” tick kit includes tweezers, a magnifying glass, ID cards and helpful information.
