Gatherings of up to 25 people will be allowed in Phase Three of the New York State reopening plan, that’s up from the limit of 10. In his coronavirus press briefing yesterday the governor insisted local governments need to enforce the limitations established in the COVID-19 regulations, whether they are infractions by religious or commercial establishments. The state yesterday also reached the lowest number of hospitalizations and deaths on the three-day average since the pandemic began.
COVID-19 by the numbers now, the state has confirmed nearly 384,000 total cases and 24,579 deaths. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got over 13,400 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 663 fatalities here in the county.
