Hoehmann addressed the issue on “Tough Times with Lou Young” here on WRCR on Saturday. Hoehmann, a Republican, has been supervisor for the last eight years and would be precluded from running again if the term limits law remained intact. In a statement, Clarkstown’s Ward 4 Councilman Pat Carroll, a Democrat, said the 3-2 vote did nothing, since a 4-1 supermajority was required to repeal the law.
