As part of Women’s History Month, Rockland Community College will be hosting former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for a speech and Q&A session with the audience. RCC President Dr. Michael Baston says Ambassador Rice is an inspiration and role model for everyone…
Rice served as the 24th U.S. National Security Advisor from 2013 to 2017, was on the staff of the National Security Council, and was the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs during President Bill Clinton’s second term. She comes to town Thursday, March 19th at 6pm at RCC’s Cultural Arts Theater. Tickets to the event are $25, and that includes a copy of Rice’s new memoir, “Tough Love: My Story of the Things Worth Fighting For.”
