Despite rumors to the contrary, the former Shop Rite of Tallman isn’t going to become a Bingo Wholesale, a retailer that specializes in Kosher products. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says it’s likely to become a supermarket, but it’s not clear yet which one might be coming there. Meanwhile Specht says the Evergreen Market planned for the former Stop and Shop in Pomona could open in the next few weeks…
The Tallman Shop Rite closed about two months ago after being in that location across from Ramapo Town Hall for more than 40 years.
