A former Rockland County Legislator who passed away late last month was buried yesterday in Monsey. Former Stony Point councilman and legislator Kenneth Ingenito served as Chairman of the Legislature in 1989, 1990 and 1992. Ingenito worked as a teacher and then assistant principal at North Rockland High School. He later was elected to the North Rockland School District Board of Education. He was an original member of the North Rockland Soccer Association, a president of the North Rockland Teachers’ Association and the Italian-American Social Club of West Haverstraw. He was buried yesterday at Ascension Cemetery in Monsey. His family plans to schedule a memorial service in the future. He was 87 years old.
