A former local police chief will be getting $2.5 million dollars after his lawsuit against the town was settled by the town’s insurance company. Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann says the town was prepared to go to trial against former chief Michael Sullivan…
Sullivan was originally suspended in July 2016 and accused of misusing Police Department communications for personal or unofficial use. He was fired in September 2017, leading to the lawsuit. Sullivan could not be reached for comment.
