Rockland’s five towns are competing in a friendly coat-drive this season, to see who collects the most. In Clarkstown coats for kids and adults are being collected with the help of four local dry cleaners. The cleaners will clean the coats free of charge, and then forward them to three distribution agencies, the Martin Luther King Center, People to People, and Advocate for Change. The program runs now through December 23rd. In Orangetown, Ramapo, Stony Point and Haverstraw, you can bring your coats to your local town hall. In Clarkstown, this years’ list of participating dry-cleaners include:
