Extra Police Patrols Added in Monsey Area Following Stabbing

November 22, 2019 by helpdesk1

Additional police patrols have been added to the Monsey area, particularly in the early morning hours, in the 48 hours-plus that have passed since a 30-year old man was viciously stabbed on Wednesday. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says the active police presence on the streets as residents walk to school or synagogue should help ease their fears until the suspect or suspects are caught…

Police Chief Brad Weidel had no information on the type of weapon that was used, a description of the suspect or suspects or a vehicle that may have been used. If you have any information, contact the Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400. Meanwhile, the governor has asked the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to help with the investigation.
