Early voting gets underway Saturday and runs through June 23rd in Rockland. There are candidates vying for positions in several races. Legislator Aron Wieder and former Spring Valley Trustee Eudson Tyson Francois are the two Democrats looking to unseat Republican John McGowan in the 97th Assembly District. McGowan himself faces a challenge for the Conservative line from Thomas Sullivan. Former Congressman Mondaire Jones faces a challenge from Anthony Frascone for the Working Families line in the race for the 17th Congressional district.
