Kear says any first responder who needs help should reach out for professional help or speak with their chief or agency leader who would then bring in the county’s critical incident stress debriefing team. EMS volunteers 27 year-old Moshe Herzog and 26 year-old David Schneebalg were killed last week in an accident on the New York State Thruway. Both were volunteers with the Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Chestnut Ridge and the Haverstraw Ambulance Corps.
