School districts also face severe spending cuts if their budgets weren’t passed by voters earlier this month. Final tallies are expected soon, but the governor will permit a second vote to take place sometime after July 9th if necessary.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, the state has confirmed over 383,000 total cases and 24,551 deaths. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got 13,400 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 661 fatalities here in the county, that figure is unchanged since Friday.
