Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland to Host “Sustainability Walk and Showcase” in Congers Saturday

September 27, 2021 by Jeff Lewis

The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County is hosting a special fundraising nature walk in Clarkstown this weekend. Mike Wilson is Extension’s Horticulture Lab Technician and hosts the Stormwater Consortium show here on WRCR. Wilson says the “Sustainability Walk and Showcase” will teach you about the three “Bs” — birds, bugs, and bio-diversity…

The Sustainability Walk and Showcase Fundraiser is being held Saturday, October 2nd, rain or shine, at Congers Lake in Clarkstown from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and it’s open to all Rockland residents. Adults cost $10, kids 18 and under are free. Register by October 1st for a swag bag. For more information and to register, visit http://rocklandcce.org and click on “Events” or click here.
