Convicted Killer, Released on Parole, Seeks to Have Parole Restrictions Lifted; Rockland DA Opposes

Rockland prosecutors have blocked a re-sentencing hearing for a convicted killer, who wants to lift her lifetime parole for killing her husband in Monsey almost three decades ago. The Journal News says 50 year-old Michelle Lennon now claims her husband Brooke Lennon abused her, leading to the killing. Rockland’s District Attorney says she murdered him in cold blood to get his insurance money. Lennon served 26 years in prison and was paroled in March.
