The MTA Board is scheduled to vote today and is expected to approve the controversial congestion pricing plan following the recent report released by the Traffic Mobility Review Board. That suggested West-of-Hudson commuters would pay an extra $15 to drive into the congestion pricing zone below 60th street in Manhattan. Day sent a letter yesterday to the MTA, urging them to vote no on the plan. Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is reportedly having a slight change of heart regarding the plan. Once a supporter of it, Adams said yesterday he wasn’t happy the plan does not protect yellow cabs or school buses.
