She also served as Chairwoman of the Town’s Citizens’ Advisory Board on Housing, and was a staunch advocate for affordable housing for seniors and those with special needs. She also served on the boards of the Valley Cottage Library and the Hi-Tor Animal Shelter. She passed away in August 2020 at the age of 88.
