Monday’s decision by the Appellate Division in the Clarkstown Term Limits Law case isn’t done just yet. The panel decided late Monday to overturn the law, giving Supervisor George Hoehmann the chance to run for supervisor this year for a third term. But RCBizJournal.com and The Journal News report the New York State Court of Appeals agreed to hear arguments to overrule that decision, and the case was heard yesterday afternoon. A decision is expected by the middle of next week. In 2014, Hoehmann helped create the law he is currently looking to overturn.
