Clarkstown Supervisor to Stay Put — He’s No Longer Running for State Senate

March 4, 2020 by helpdesk1

Clarkstown’s supervisor has decided to stay where he is and not run for state senate. George Hoehmann had thrown his hat into the ring last month to run for the seat being left vacant by David Carlucci, who is running for Nita Lowey’s Congressional seat. On his Facebook page this morning, Hoehmann said he still has work to do in Clarkstown and prefers to remain there. A new Republican candidate for the 38th Senate District is expected to be announced in the near future.
