Clarkstown Aims to Get Potholes on State Roads Fixed

March 2, 2022 by Jeff Lewis

The Town of Clarkstown is talking to the state to see about getting some potholes fixed on state roads from this winter. A caller to The Morning Show this week, Jeff from New City, said it’s pretty bad on Routes 304, 303 and 9W…

Town supervisor George Hoehmann says they spoke to the state Department of Transportation about the issue last Friday…

A new survey from AAA released yesterday found that last year 1 in 10 drivers suffered vehicle damage that needed repairs after hitting a pothole, each costing an average of nearly $600 per repair. Damage caused by potholes cost drivers $26.5 billion in 2021 alone.
