BOCES Student Arrested after Stabbing Another Student with Scissors

March 20, 2019 by helpdesk1

An argument at Rockland BOCES between two students who had just gotten off the school bus before school began led to a 16 year-old needing medical attention and a 17 year-old suspected of stabbing him. Clarkstown Police Detective Peter Walker says the assault happened around 8 o-clock Monday morning…

The Clarkstown School Resource Officer assigned to BOCES interviewed the victim and suspect who were still both on scene. He faces assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon charges. Police believe this was an incident between the two students. Other children and the staff were not in any danger. A BOCES spokesman could not be reached for comment.
