A blood drive is being held Thursday in Suffern in memory of a Suffern High School graduate who died 2½ years ago. 20 year-old Madie Nicpon was attending Tufts University when she fell unconscious while participating in a charity fundraiser. Madie was president of Suffern High School’s Class of 2019 and co-president of the National Honor Society. She was also an organ donor and donated blood multiple times. When she passed, her kidneys, nerves, skin and bones were all donated to others. The blood drive runs from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 22nd at Suffern High School at 49 Viola Road in Suffern. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. To make an appointment online, click here.
