Blood Drive in Suffern Today in Honor of SHS Grad Who Died 2 1/2 Years Ago

February 22, 2024 by Jeff Lewis

A blood drive is being held today in Suffern in memory of a Suffern High School graduate who died 2½ years ago. 20 year-old Madie Nicpon was attending Tufts University when she fell unconscious while participating in a charity fundraiser. Madie was president of Suffern High School’s Class of 2019 and co-president of the National Honor Society. She was also an organ donor and donated blood multiple times. When she passed, her kidneys, nerves, skin and bones were all donated to others. The blood drive runs from 2pm to 8pm today at Suffern High School at 49 Viola Road. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. To make an appointment online, click here.
