Rockland Supervisors Offer Advice as “Morning Show” Co-host, Steve Possell, Prepares to Throw Out First Pitch at Boulders Game Saturday

July 23, 2021 by helpdesk1

And here’s a little-known fact, our own Steve Possell, who is retiring August 13th, is being celebrated at the Boulders game tomorrow night where he’ll throw out the ceremonial first pitch! Steve’s hometown supervisor, Stony Point’s Jim Monaghan, did it recently, and offered some advice for the nervous nearly 73 year-old rookie pitcher…

It’s also Irish Heritage night at the ballpark. Orangetown supervisor Teresa Kenny, who’s also not very experienced at baseball, will also be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch along with Steve, but she’s also not exactly looking forward to it…

The “WRCR Steve Possell Retirement Party on the Short Porch” is sold out, but you can still buy tickets to the game and stop by and wave to us from whatever seats you get. The weather should be great.
