Supporters of the idea say that from just two boxes of chocolate milk a day kids get 20 grams of total sugar, almost one-third of a child’s daily sugar allowance according to the American Heart Association and the World Health Organization. They both suggest 6 teaspoons or 25 grams of added sugar per day for children is more than enough.
