An Airmont man was arrested by the FBI yesterday in connection with bank robberies in New York and New Jersey earlier this year. The U-S Attorney for the Southern District of New York says 29 year-old Yosef Ziegler started his bank-robbing spree with the Chase Bank at Pacesetter Shopping Center on Route 202 in Pomona last January. That was allegedly followed by another heist in Park Ridge in April, one in Wappingers Falls in June and then last month in Fishkill. In all four cases he reportedly claimed to have a bomb or explosives. Ziegler faces 25 years in prison for each of the three counts of bank robbery that he faces.
