Airborne Marijuana Odors Likely Here to Stay Now that Pot’s Legal in NYS

The air can sometimes reek of marijuana now that it’s legal in New York State, and some aren’t happy about it. Orangetown was the first Rockland town to opt out of authorizing retail sales of pot, but state law says people can still smoke it in public, and supervisor Teresa Kenny says there’s nothing that can likely be done about that…

New York State’s law says pot can be smoked in a private home, and wherever regular tobacco smoking is permitted.
