July 15, 2019 by helpdesk1

An 18-year-old woman is expected to make a full recovery after falling about 35 feet in an unauthorized swimming hole off Route 17 in Tuxedo Saturday. The Times Herald-Record reports the incident took place at what’s known as “The Bubbles” on the Ramapo River. Tuxedo Police said the unidentified woman was in a group of nine teens, and fell and hit some rocks. She was airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center with a cut above her eye, injuries to her jaw and teeth, and her left collarbone. It took first reponders about 20 minutes to get to her because it was so remote.
